The Little Things

After a fifteen hour long work day, Jeremy came home and did this:

• Ignored the toy mess in the T.V. room.
• Took out the garbage.
• Let Hayley play with his "special flashlight."
• Listened to an account of my day, which really was not that interesting.
• Put Hayley to bed, while I laid in bed and read a magazine.
• After ten minutes, went back in, just to tell Hayley he was proud of her for staying in her bed.  So cute.
• Came to bed and cuddled, even though I know he wanted to check his email, play a little PS3, or go directly to sleep on his side of the bed.
  

With days when it seems like marriage is so much more hectic than it used to be, it's nice to stop and appreciate the little things, and remember why I love my husband so much.
